My Biography

Howdy.

My name is Antonia Arriagada, I´m 19 years old and I´m currently studying architecture in Universidad de Chile. I was born on June 6th, 2002, in Santiago, Chile. I have two little brothers, Juan who is 14, and Ivan who is 12. My parents´ names are Juan Arriagada and Tania Unicahuin.

I studied in the school Alcantara on Santiago until I was 6 or 7, I don’t remember well. Then, me and my family, I had only one brother at that time and my mother was pregnant, moved out to Osorno, where my littlest brother was born, and we stayed there until I finished 8th grade.

I practiced karate do since I was little because people made fun of my aspect because I was chubby, so my parents thought that practicing that sport would help me to lose weight and my shy attitude. But I ended up being on top 1 of the best competitors of my generation in kata in Chile.

Since I moved out of Osorno when I was 13, it was difficult to me to find good teachers of kata, I maintained my position by sacrificing a lot of my time, body, and mental health, until I forced myself to stop when I was in my last year of high school because I knew it wasn´t worth it anymore. Even if I loved practicing, I didn´t like the pressure I used to put in myself. Today I practice it sometimes by myself without a teacher or classes because I still love it.

I graduated high school being on top 3 best students and I managed to get into Universidad de Chile. I chose architecture because in the country I live, I can´t really chose illustration or even considering writing a book as a main career, so architecture was always my first option in all tests I made to discover what fit in my abilities of math and art skills. I´m now writing a novel slowly since college is taking a lot of my time. Overall, I really ending up liking this career even though I´m still on my first year.

Still single and I want it to stay like that for a long time, until after I finish studying would be perfect.
